GAMES

PLAIN TALK FROM JODIE’S ELECTRONICS CENTER

Got a TV? Like to play games? Have I seen some games for you! “What in the world am I talking about,” you may ask. My answer from here on my couch is that there is a whole world of fun to be had in your living room, or wherever your TV set is, if you start playing games on it. I was over at a neighbor’s house the other day, and I saw them playing video games on their TV set and now I’m hooked!

Nowadays there is a whole industry that is just devoted to inventing games you can play on your TV set and equipment to hook up to it to make playing the games a challenge and a thrill. No more trips to the arcade, if you like those electronic games. There are action games about comic book heroes, and game versions of action movies, sometimes that come out the same time as the movies like Spiderman and Superman Returns. How about war games where you are one of the soldiers and your platoon is taking a town in WWII?

While the notion of playing electronic video games on the TV isn’t new – remember Pac Man – the equipment you use to play them is fantastically sophisticated these days and the games themselves are even more fantastic! These companies have a bunch of kid-geniuses sitting around in front of computers, inventing new video games, while a group of genius-engineers are sitting around in another room, inventing better equipment to play them on. A number of companies are in the act, too, like Sony and Nintendo. They keep coming out with new games for you to buy to play on their Playstations® or Nintendo® Systems. Once you have the equipment, you can just buy the new games and add them to your collection. Sometimes they also come out with pieces of equipment like handheld “controllers” that make playing the games more fun, and since multiple people can play at one time this can be fun for a several people as well as a person playing by themselves.

So, now that I decided to become a “video gamer,” my wife and I started to do some research into the video games and equipment. We found that the games and equipment often come in sets, and our research showed us that a lot of folks have found that by going to www.jodieselectronicscenter.com (JEC), they will be offered an incredibly wide range of types and brands of electronic games and all of the electronic items needed to make their video game-playing a great experience. Best of all, they can get the video games and the equipment to play them on at unbeatably low prices, and they like Jodie’s policy that “If you don’t see it, ask us for it. We take care of our customers!”

After seeing some enormous prices for electronics, the folks at JEC felt it was their obligation to try and find the best prices money can buy. Because of their low overhead, they are able to consistently beat their competitor’s prices. Tell your family and friends about this brand new shopping website. You can also contact them at jodiemiddleton@bellsouth.net.
